A Personal Thank-You From CW Glassworks to Liam Kubko and Family

In Feburary of 2021, CW Glassworks’ founder, Collin Walsh, was beyond honoured to receive the Liam Kubko Memorial Bursary award from Sheridan College and the generous members of Liam's family.

Liam was one of Ontario's brilliant young lampworkers with a fascination and passion for glass that is simply unmatched by most. Unfortunately, Liam was taken from this world far too young and tragically passed away this past August.

We would like to extend this personal message from Collin to Liam and his family in remembrance of Liam and in gratitude of his family’s generosity:

“I promise to honour Liam's memory everyday through my work, study, and fervent dedication to my craft. I feel so blessed and humbled to receive this gift in his name today; please know that you have helped to provide stability and a brighter future to a young man who wanted nothing more.
