Our future is never guaranteed.
Make sure your voice matters.
While it may appear that, at least for the time being, the existential threat to Sheridan’s continued legacy of excellence in glass art and education has dissipated, we cannot allow this to detract from the importance of this conversation.
It is not enough for us to simply be content by with the current state of affairs. As Jamie Hiemstra mentioned in the article discussed during the short essay portion of this project, it integral that we engage with the powers that be in order to help ensure the continued prosperity of this community and creative movement. Make your voice heard, and help to make sure we can keep this legacy going for another six decades to come.
